DALLAS STARS NOTES:

LAST DALLAS STARS GAME
April 10, 2023 – STARS 6 at RED WINGS 1
On a milestone night for forward Joe Pavelski, the Stars scored six unanswered goals in a 6-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena on Monday. Pavelski became the 10th U.S.-born player to reach 1,000 career points when he scored a trademark goal on a deflection off Miro Heiskanen’s point shot. Moments after he scored, Pavelski was mobbed by his teammates, who jumped off the bench to congratulate him. Forward Roope Hintz tied his single-game career high with four points (1-3—4), Jason Robertson had a goal and three points (1-2—3) and Heiskanen tied Sergei Zubov (71) for the most points scored by a defenseman in a season in Dallas Stars history with two assists against the Red Wings. Forward Ty Dellandrea (1-0—1), captain Jamie Benn (1-0—1) and defenseman Esa Lindell (1-0—1) rounded out the scoring, while goaltender Jake Oettinger earned the win with 12 saves on 13 shots in 40 minutes of action.
