GOLDEN KNIGHTS LAST GAME RECAP
April 3 – Vegas Golden Knights 4, Minnesota Wild 3 SO
Pavel Dorofeyev’s heroics led the Vegas Golden Knights (48-22-7) to a 4-3 shootout win against the Minnesota Wild (44-23-10). Keegan Kolesar put Vegas up 1-0 when he tipped in Ben Hutton’s shot halfway through the first period. Brandon Duhaime then tied the game at 1-1 for Minnesota early in the middle frame. The Wild took a 2-1 lead when John Klingberg netted a power-play goal. With less than five minutes remaining in the period, Dorofeyev scored to tie things up at 2-2. Then, with less than one minute to go in the period, Matt Boldy put Minnesota back ahead, 3-2. In the final minute of the third, Dorofeyev scored his second goal of the game to send it to overtime. After the teams traded goals for four rounds, Reilly Smith scored to secure the extra point for Vegas in the 4-3 win.

The Story of the Back-to-Backs
Vegas’ game against Nashville on Tuesday will conclude the club’s sixth and final back-to-back of the season. The Golden Knights are 2-2-1 in the second game of a double-header.

The contest between the Golden Knights and Predators is the third and final this season. The last time these teams met, Vegas conquered Nashville in a 5-1 victory at Bridgestone Arena. After allowing the first goal, Michael Amadio and William Carrier scored 27 seconds apart for Vegas to jump to a 2-1 lead.
