THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
• Tonight’s matchup is final of three games the Kraken will play against the Wild this season and the second time the two teams are playing in Minnesota this year. Both of the teams’ previous two meetings ended in a shutout. Martin Jones shut out the Wild in a 4-0 Seattle win on Nov. 3 and then March-Andre Fleury shut out the Kraken in a 1-0 Minnesota win on Nov. 11.
• Tonight’s game is the final of a four-game road trip in which all four games will be played against Central Division teams. It is the 20th of 25 games the Kraken will play against Central Division teams this season, with Seattle holding an 10-3-6 record against the Central Division this year.

• A win tonight would give Seattle its 10th series win of the season, having previously won its season series against Buffalo, Colorado, Columbus, Detroit, Nashville, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Jose and St. Louis. The Kraken have one game remaining to play against Los Angeles, but they will record a series win regardless of the outcome after going 3-0-0 against the Kings in their first three meetings of the season. The Kraken have four season series that still could be won: Anaheim, Arizona, Chicago and Vegas.

• Entering play Sunday, Jared McCann (1.92) was leading the NHL in goals-per-60 at five-on-five this season among players that have played in at least eight games this year.

• With the Kraken’s four-goal outing in their game on March 3 against Columbus, they surpassed their goal total from all of last season in 20 fewer games. Seattle has scored 253 goals in 72 games this season compared to 213 goals in 2021-22. The team’s 253 goals this season was tied for fifth in the NHL entering play Sunday.

• Jordan Eberle’s goal in the Kraken’s game on March 3 at Columbus was his 50th point of the season. It is the sixth time in his career and first time since 2017-18 that Eberle has recorded 50 or more points in a season.
