RECAP/NOTES: The Rangers began the road trip with a 2-1 defeat of the Hurricanes on Thursday in Carolina. The Hurricanes struck first before the Rangers scored one in the second and one in the third to take the win. Both Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin recorded multi-point games. In the win, Vladimir Tarasenko notched his 300th career assist.
RANGERS RUNDOWN
- The New York Rangers close out this two-game road trip with a Saturday evening affair against the Florida Panthers (5:00 PM ET – TV: MSG Network – Radio: ESPN 98.7 FM). Beginning tonight, the Blueshirts have 10 more games in the regular season.
