THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
• Tonight’s matchup is second of three games the Kraken will play against the Predators this season and the first time the two teams are playing in Nashville this year.

• Tonight’s game is also the first of two consecutive games the Kraken will play against the Predators in Nashville. It marks the third time in franchise history that the Kraken are facing the same team in back-to-back games in the same location. They played the Kings in two-straight games in Los Angeles last season on March 26 and 28, 2022 and played the Stars in back-to-back games in Seattle on March 11 and 13.

• Tonight’s game is the second of a four-game road trip in which all four games will be played against Central Division teams. It is the 18th of 25 games the Kraken will play against Central Division teams this season, with Seattle holding an 9-3-5 record against the Central Division this year.

• A win tonight would give the Kraken four consecutive victories against the Predators. Seattle holds a 3-1-0 all-time record against Nashville.

• Vince Dunn, who has already set a career high with 57 points (13 goals, 44 assists) this season, enters tonight’s game as the Kraken’s leading scorer. He was ranked in the top 15 among all NHL defensemen in goals (tied eighth), assists (11th), points (11th), even-strength goals (13, tied second) and even-strength points (42, third) entering play Wednesday. Since Jan. 1, Dunn is leading all NHL defensemen in scoring with 38 points (nine goals, 29 assists) in 36 games played.

• Entering play Wednesday, Jared McCann (1.90) was leading the NHL in goals-per-60 at five-on-five this season among players that have played in at least 12 games this year.

• With the Kraken’s four-goal outing in their game on March 3 against Columbus, they surpassed their goal total from all of last season in 20 fewer games. Seattle has scored 245 goals in 70 games this season compared to 213 goals in 2021-22. The team’s 245 goals this season were tied for the sixth-most in the NHL entering play Wednesday.

• Jordan Eberle’s goal in the Kraken’s game on March 3 at Columbus was his 50th point of the season. It is the sixth time in his career and first time since 2017-18 that Eberle has recorded 50 or more points in a season.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Kraken defeated the Stars 5-4 in overtime in their last game on March 21 in Dallas, extending their road winning streak to six games and improving their 2022-23 record to 39-24-7.

• Five players recorded multi-point efforts: Jared McCann (one goal, one assist), Adam Larsson (one goal, one assist), Carson Soucy (two assists), Daniel Sprong (one goal, one assist) and Brandon Tanev (two goals, one assist). It marked the seventh time this season that the Kraken had five or more players record at least two points in the same game, the others being Nov. 23 vs. San Jose (five), Nov. 29 at Los Angeles (seven), Jan. 7 at Ottawa (six), Jan. 14 at Chicago (six), Jan. 25 vs. Vancouver (six) and March 2 at Detroit (five).

• Adam Larsson scored the game-winning goal 1:52 into overtime. The goal was the third overtime winner of his career and his second as a member of the Kraken.

• Brandon Tanev tied his single-game career high with three points in the contest, scoring two goals and adding an assist. His two goals were his 14th and 15th of the season, which set a career high, and his three points brought his season total to 32, which also set a career high.

• Morgan Geekie tied his career high in both assists (15) and points (22) with an assist on Tanev’s second goal.

• With 25 saves, Joey Daccord won his second game as a member of the Kraken after being recalled the previous day from Coachella Valley (AHL) on an emergency basis.

ROAD WARRIORS
• The Kraken have posted an 23-9-3 record while playing on the road this season. The team’s 23 road wins have more than doubled their total from last season (11) despite the team still having six road games left to play this season.

• Entering play Wednesday, the Kraken ranked in the top five in the NHL in road wins (23, third), points (49, tied fourth) and road regulation wins (18, fourth). The team’s 133 goals scored on the road and 3.80 goals-per-game-played on the road were both ranked fourth in the NHL entering play Wednesday.

• The Kraken’s 14 road wins and 29 road points since Jan. 1 were second to only the Boston Bruins (16 wins, 33 points) for the most in 2023 entering play Wednesday.

• A win tonight over the Predators would give the Kraken their second seven-game road winning streak. The team previously recorded a seven-game streak from Jan. 1 to 14. Seattle’s six-game road streak is the longest active road winning streak in the NHL.
