Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames announce today that they have signed forwards Glenn Gawdin and Justin Kirkland to one-year, two-way contracts.
Gawdin, a native of Richmond, BC was a fourth round pick of the St. Louis Blues in the 2015 NHL Draft. Since then, the 24-year-old has skated in 139 AHL games with the Stockton Heat notching 31 goals and 67 assists for 98 points and 110 penalty minutes. He played seven games with the Calgary Flames last season earning his first NHL point (assist).
