CAROLINA HURRICANES NOTES:

LAST GAME
The Hurricanes earned a 5-4 overtime win against the Los Angeles Kings at PNC Arena on Tuesday. Paul Stastny, Jordan Staal and Teuvo Teravainen each scored in the third period to erase a 4-1 deficit, marking just the fifth three-goal, third-period comeback win in team history (since relocation). Sebastian Aho scored his franchise-record eighth career overtime goal, extending his goal streak to five games. Brent Burns (1g, 1a) and Andrei Svechnikov (2a) each posted two points, as Burns extended his own point streak to six games. Frederik Andersen made 17 saves in net and improved to 6-0-0 since returning from injury.

HURRICANES vs. SABRES SERIES NOTES
— Carolina is facing Buffalo in the second of three meetings between the teams during the 2022-23 season. The Hurricanes will return to KeyBank Center on 4/8.

— The Hurricanes and Sabres are meeting for the 210th time in their regular-season histories. Carolina holds an 88-97-18-6 overall record, including a 37-55-7-4 road record and a 42-33-2-6 record since relocation.
