LAST GAME: Jan. 27, 6-2 win at Toronto: Tkachuk registered his 13th career multi-goal game to help pace Ottawa to a 6-2 victory at Scotiabank Arena. The win saw the Senators register their first victory over Toronto since 10/14/21 to break a four-game losing streak against the club. Chabot opened the scoring with his 50th career goal to become the second fastest rearguard in team history to reach the mark. Giroux recorded one goal and one assist for his 13th multi-point game of the season, the most by a Senators skater in his first season with the club since 2013-14. Brassard provided his third power-play goal of the season while Batherson also found the back of the net for the visitors. Anderson and Nylander replied for Toronto. Forsberg earned the win for Ottawa with 31 saves while Samsonov took the loss for Toronto in turning aside 28 of 34 shots.
