Despite jumping out to a 3-0 lead, the Stars gave up five unanswered goals and lost 5-3 to the San Jose Sharks at SAP Center on Wednesday. Forwards Ty Dellandrea (1-0—1), Jason Robertson (1-0—1) and Radek Faksa (1-0—1) lit the lamp for Dallas, while defenseman Miro Heiskanen (0-2—2) added two assists. Defensemen Nils Lundkvist (0-1—1) and Colin Miller (0-1—1) recorded assists, as did captain Jamie Benn (0-1—1) and Fredrik Olofsson (0-1—1). Goaltender Jake Oettinger gave up four goals on 26 shots. The Stars lost two of the three games against the Sharks this season (1-2-0).

DALLAS STARS NOTES
TONIGHT’S GAME: The Stars close out their back-to-back set tonight against the LA Kings at Crypto.com Arena (9:30 p.m. CT, TV: Bally Sports Southwest, Radio: The Ticket 96.7-FM/1310-AM). It’s been a little over two weeks (16 days) since Dallas was in LA – a game the Stars lost 3-2. This concludes the three-game season series between the Stars and Kings, which has seen each club win on home ice. The Stars skated to 5-2 victory over the Kings on Nov. 1, 2022 at American Airlines Center.
