FLUSHING, N.Y., – The New York Mets tonight announced that they have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with the following players, avoiding arbitration: infielder Pete Alonso, RHP Jeff Brigham, infielder Luis Guillorme, RHP Elieser Hernández, catcher Tomás Nido and RHP Drew Smith. The Mets had previously agreed to a one-year contract with LHP Joey Lucchesi.
