GOLDEN KNIGHTS LAST GAME RECAP
December 28 – Vegas Golden Knights 2, Anaheim Ducks 3 SO
The Vegas Golden Knights (24-12-2) were outlasted by the Anaheim Ducks (10-23-4) in a 3-2 shootout loss on Wednesday night at the Honda Center. Adam Henrique scored two goals in the first 13 minutes of the game as Anaheim pounced out to a 2-0 lead. Mark Stone answered with a shorthanded goal late in the frame as Vegas entered the second trailing by one. Ben Hutton, the former Duck, found the back of the net for the first time this season as a fortunate bounce went his way to tie the game at 2-2. Neither side scored in the third period or overtime and the game went to a shootout. Trevor Zegras and Troy Terry scored on Anaheim’s first two shots to seal the win for the Ducks.
