HOME AT LAST
The Blue Jackets fell for the seventh-straight game and moved to 7-13-2 in the last 22 games overall following a 2-1 loss at the NY Islanders on Thursday. It’s been a road heavy stretch for Columbus. With Tuesday’s home game vs. Buffalo postponed due to weather, the club closed out a stretch of six-of-seven contests away from Nationwide Arena on Thursday. The stretch of road games began back on December 13. The team gets to put away the large suitcases for the next week as it plays three of its next four contests at home through January 7.
