Recap: Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor each scored in each of the first two periods in a 5-2 win against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night.
Pierre-Luc Dubois had three assists, while Connor added an assist for a three-point night as well. Connor also led the Jets with six shots. Connor Hellebuyck made 39 saves, including all 25 shots he faced in the second period, to earn his fifth consecutive win.

First One
Dylan Samberg scored his first career goal on Sunday, becoming the 35th player to do so in a Jets uniform and 78th in franchise history… He joins Mikey Eyssimont as the two members of the Jets to score their first NHL goal this season… Kyle Connor drew the primary assist on Samberg’s goal, marking the fifth first career goal he’s assisted on since 2016 (Patrik Laine, Sami Niku, Logan Stanley, and Cole Perfetti).
