Nick Gordon optioned to Triple-A St. Paul
HOUSTON, TX – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have returned outfielder Rob Refsnyder from his rehab assignment and reinstated him from the 10-day Injured List.
Refsnyder, who has missed the Twins’ last 43 games due to a left hamstring strain, played in 10 rehab games for Triple-A St. Paul, hitting .389 (14-for-36) with three doubles, three home runs, nine RBI, eight runs scored, six walks, a .465 on-base percentage and a 1.187 OPS. Prior to his injury, he played in 18 games for the Twins, hitting .321 (18-for-56) with four doubles, two home runs, 10 RBI, five walks and an .871 OPS.
To make room on the 26-man roster, the Twins have optioned infielder/outfielder Nick Gordon to Triple-A St. Paul. Gordon has played in 37 games for the Twins across three stints, hitting .250 (24-for-96) with three doubles, one triple, one home run, five RBI, nine runs scored, five stolen bases and a .301 on-base percentage.
