Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, will mark the first of five 15-game days this season and 20th in NHL history (last: April 29, 2022). A total of five 15-game days are scheduled for the 2022-23 regular season.

* The most combined goals scored on a 15-game day is 104 (including shootout-deciding goals), a mark set April 29, 2022. * There have been 23 hat tricks scored on 15-game days, including two the last time 30 teams played: Steven Stamkos (3-0—3; TBL) and Cole Caufield (3-0—3; MTL) each did so April 29, 2022. Caufield became the fifth rookie with a hat trick on a 15-game day, with the last before him also achieved by a Canadiens forward – on April 6, 2019, Ryan Poehling scored three goals in his NHL debut as Bob Cole called the final play-by-play of his half-century career.
* A player has scored four goals on a 15-game day three times: Alex Ovechkin (Oct. 7, 2017; 4-0—4 w/ WSH), Mark Jankowski (April 7, 2018; 4-0—4 w/ CGY) and Jack Eichel (Nov. 16, 2019; 4-0—4 w/ BUF).
* The most assists by a player on a 15-game day is four, achieved by Evgeny Kuznetsov (Oct. 7, 2017; 0-4—4 w/ WSH), Mika Zibanejad (Dec. 29, 2018; 0-4—4 w/ NYR), Cale Makar (Nov. 16, 2019; 0-4—4 w/ COL) and Leon Draisaitl (May 1, 2021; 0-4—4 w/ EDM). Makar is both the only defenseman and only rookie with four assists on a single 15-game day.
* The most points by a player on a 15-game day is four, a feat accomplished 17 times in NHL history and most recently by Leon Draisaitl (May 1, 2021; 0-4—4 w/ EDM).
* The most goals scored by one team on a 15-game day is 10 (including shootout-deciding goals), a mark set by the Canadiens on April 29, 2022 in a 10-2 victory against the Panthers.
* Goaltenders have combined for 38 shutouts on 15-game days, with James Reimer holding the benchmark for highest save count in one of those performances. Reimer made 38 saves Dec. 23, 2017, to backstop the Panthers to a 1-0 victory against the Senators.

* There has been one tandem shutout on a 15-game day, with Ben Bishop (12 saves) and Marek Schwarz (5 saves) combining for the feat in a 4-0 Blues victory against the Panthers on Oct. 25, 2008.
