Virginia – Tony Elliot (2-4 in first season at UVA overall)

Georgia Tech – Brent Key, interim (2-0 in first season at Georgia Tech and overall)

Notes: • Georgia Tech seeks to snap a two-game losing streak versus the Cavaliers as the teams meet in Atlanta for the first time since 2018. • The first six games of what is now an ACC Coastal Division rivalry were played in Atlanta (between 1965 and 1983), and all were Georgia tech wins. • Virginia closed the gap by winning seven of nine from 1987 through 1995, and neither side has won more than three years in a row since • Each of the last four series meetings has been decided by eight points or less, including Georgia Tech’s 30-27 overtime win in the most recent game played at Bobby Dodd Stadium 2018 and Cavalier’s 48-40 win in Charlottesville last season, when QB Brennan Armstrong passed for four touchdowns and ran for tow more to lead Virginia • Georgia Tech is 17-7 all-time in home games versus the Cavaliers • Virginia leads 20-16 in ACC matchups.

Notes: • Clemson seeks its fifth consecutive victory in the series as unbeaten Atlantic Division teams meet in what looms as one of the biggest games of the 2022 season. • The Tigers current 13-game winning streak is the longest in the nation, while Syracuse owns a 6-0 record for the first time since 1987. • Clemson has won eight of the nine ACC meetings between the schools, but the Tigers have had their share of difficulty versus the Orange during that stretch • In addition to least season’s nail-biter, Syracuse handed the then-defending national champions their only regular-season loss of the 2017 season by a 27-24 score at the Dome and had Clemson on the ropes in Death Valley the following year before RB Travis Etienne’s 2-yard touchdown run with 41 seconds left lifted the Tigers to a 27-23 win • The schools first met in the 1996 Gator Bowl, with Syracuse winning 41-0.

Notes: • ACC Atlantic Division rivals meet in Winston-Salem continuing a series that was first played in 1941. • Wake Forest was the frequent visit to Boston in the mid-20th century, playing two games at Fenway Park and six games at old Braves Field between 1942 through 1953. • Boston College holds a 9-7 edge in ACC games. • The three meetings from 2014-16 were decided by a total of 12 points before Wake Forest broke through for a 34-10 win in 2017. • The Demon Deacons won 41-10 at Chestnut Hill to close out the 2021 regular season and will carry a two-game series winning streak into this Saturday’s game. • Wake Forest clinched a spot in the ACC Championship Game with last year’s win as QB Sam Hartman three for three touchdowns and ran for another. • Boston College has won on each of its three most previous trips to Winston-Salem, most recently 31-24 in 2018.

Pittsburgh – Pat Narduzzi (57-69 in eighth season Pittsburgh and overall)

Louisville – Scott Satterfield, (21-22 in fourth season at Louisville; 72-46 in 10th season overall)

Notes: • The teams meet for the first time since 2020, when QB Kenny Pickett threw for 220 yards and two touchdown, and No 21 Pitt sacked Louisville quarterback Malik Cunningham seven times in a 23-20 victory. • Pitt has won six of the last seven meetings versus Louisville. • The teams squared off eight consecutive years as Big East opponents from 2005 – 2012. • It has been a streaky series with Louisville winning seven straight from 1990 through 2007, after Pitt won the first four meetings (1976, 1980, 1982, 1983). • The teams have split six previous meetings in Louisville, but Saturday will mark the first time since 2011 that the Cardinals have played host to the Panthers. • Louisville opens a three-game home-stand with Saturday night’s game, while Pitt plays the first of two straight ACC games on the road. • The Panthers are set to play at North Carolina on Oct. 29.
