White Sox recall Matt Foster and Adam Haseley from Triple-A Charlotte

CHICAGO – Prior to today’s series finale vs. Kansas City, the Chicago White Sox recalled right-handed pitcher Matt Foster and outfielder Adam Haseley from Class AAA Charlotte.

Foster, 27, is 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA (22 ER/44.0 IP) and 40 strikeouts in 47 relief appearances this season, his third with the White Sox. He also has appeared in four games with Charlotte, allowing one run over 4.0 IP.

Haseley, 26, is batting .243/.313/.428 (83-341) with 17 doubles, 14 home runs, 59 RBI and 49 runs scored in 91 games with Charlotte this season. He also has played in 11 games over two stints with the Sox, going 5-20 (.250) with two RBI and three runs scored.

The White Sox active roster increases to 28 players.
