Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves:

  • Placed RHP Scott Effross on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to 8/21) with a right shoulder strain.
  • Recalled RHP Clarke Schmidt (#86) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
