Selected INF Buddy Kennedy from Triple-A Reno. MiLB Bio
- Will wear No. 45 and will be making his Major League debut.
- Rated by MLB Pipeline as the D-backs’ No. 21 prospect.
- Hit .296 (58-for-196) with 8 doubles, 3 triples, 4 home runs and 24 RBI over 54 games with Reno in 2022, including a .345 average (20-for-58) over his final 15 games…made 28 starts at third base and 16 at second.
- Selected by the D-backs in the fifth round of the 2017 draft.
Transferred RHP Humberto Castellanos to the 60-day injured list (strained right elbow).
Optioned OF Jake McCarthy to Reno following Wednesday’s game.
