This afternoon, the Orioles made the following roster moves:
• Selected the contract of RHP Chris Ellis from Triple-A Norfolk
• Designated OF DJ Stewart for assignment
• Optioned RHP Marcos Diplán to Triple-A Norfolk after last night’s game
Ellis will wear #39 and make the start tonight against Oakland. The 40-man roster remains at 40 players.
