Dash trade rights to forward Veronica Latsko to OL Reign

NEED TO KNOW: 

·       Houston will receive OL Reign’s natural third round pick and $30,000 in allocation money 

·       OL Reign will receive the rights to forward Veronica Latsko 

·       Latsko spent four seasons with the Dash after being drafted in the 2018 NWSL Draft HOUSTON – The Houston Dash have traded the rights to forward Veronica Latsko to OL Reign for $30,000 in allocation money and OL Reign’s natural third round pick in the 2023 NWSL Draft, the club announced today.  

Latsko was drafted out of the University of Virginia by Houston in the 2018 NWSL college draft with the No. 28 overall pick. In four seasons with the Dash, the Venetia, Penn. Native appeared in 62 matches and scored 10 goals across all competitions. Latsko was also a member of the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup winning squad.  

The forward made her professional and Dash debut on March 25, 2018, against the Chicago Red Stars. Latsko spent time in the Australian W-League on loan during the 2018-2019 season and the 2019-2020 season. 

Following this trade, the Dash have 20 players under contract ahead of the 2022 NWSL season.
