Claimed RHP Brett de Geus (duh-GUS) off waivers from the Texas Rangers.
Appeared in 19 games with Texas this season before being designated for assignment on June 23.
Selected by the Rangers with the second pick in the 2020 Rule 5 draft from the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The D-backs’ 40-man roster is now at 40.
