Remote and Studio Teams Set for Trade Deadline Frenzy; Fans Can Follow Real-Time Highlights Across NHL Media Social Platforms

SECAUCUS – NHL Network™ today announced it will deliver nine consecutive hours of live coverage of the 2026 NHL Trade Deadline on Friday, March 6,beginning with early-day buildup and continuing through the 3 p.m. ET deadline. The network will conclude one of the most unpredictable days on the NHL calendar with comprehensive post-deadline analysis.

Early coverage will include a simulcast of Sportsnet’s Hockey Central: 2026 Trade Deadline, ensuring fans have wall-to-wall access to the day’s major moves and immediate reaction from hockey experts across the league.

Throughout the day, NHL Network talent will provide breaking news, analysis, live interviews, and updates from across the NHL’s 32 markets. Trade Deadline content will also be highlighted across NHL Media’s social media platforms, featuring clips and commentary from NHL Tonight and NHL Network personalities Tony Luftman and Bruce Boudreau.
