Winnipeg Blue Bombers complete three roster transactions

WINNIPEG, MB, – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announced they have signed American receivers Kyran Moore and Cam Echols to the club’s practice roster, while releasing defensive back Russell Dandy.

Cam Echols (6-0, 195 lbs.; Western Kentucky; born April 30, 1995, Ennis, Texas) arrives after spending the 2024 season with the Calgary Stampeders. Last year, Echols hauled in 31 catches for 363 yards and four touchdowns. He also made an impact on special teams, returning 12 punts for 109 yards and eight kickoffs for 181 yards. Prior to his stint in Calgary, Echols spent time with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and BC Lions and suited up for the New Jersey Generals in the USFL.

Kyran Moore (5-9, 165 lbs.; Austin Peay; born September 19, 1996, Bessemer, Alabama) joins Winnipeg after five CFL seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders (2018–22) and the Edmonton Elks (2023). Over 46 games in Regina, Moore compiled 210 receptions for 2,351 yards and 10 touchdowns. As a rookie, he led the league with 389 punt-return yards and scored two return TDs, then added 213 punt-return yards in his second season. In Edmonton, Moore stepped into the Elks’ offense immediately, finishing 2023 with a team-high 69 catches for 743 yards and four touchdowns in 18 games.

Defensive back Russell Dandy has been released from the practice roster.
