The Toronto Blue Jays have signed right-handed pitcher Adam Kloffenstein to a Minor League contract with an invitation to the 2025 Major League Spring Training.

Kloffenstein, 24, made his MLB debut with the St. Louis Cardinals this past season, appearing in one game while spending the majority of the year at Triple-A Memphis. In 17 minor league starts, he recorded a 4-5 record with a 4.74 ERA, a 10.9% walk rate, a 19.4% strikeout rate, and a 49.8% groundball rate. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound right-hander hails from Magnolia, TX, and was originally selected by the Blue Jays in the 3rd round of the 2018 First-Year Player Draft. He was traded to St. Louis as part of a deadline deal in 2023.
In 106 appearances (104 starts) across the Blue Jays and Cardinals systems, Kloffenstein has posted a 4.47 ERA over 497.0 innings, with a 10.9% walk rate and a 23.3% strikeout rate.
