The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired LHP Ryan Yarbrough from the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for OF Kevin Kiermaier and cash considerations.

Yarbrough, 32, made 22 appearances for the Dodgers this season, going 4-2 with a 3.74 ERA, a 1.14 WHIP, and a .213 opponent batting average. The Austin, TX, native was selected by the Mariners in the 4th round of the 2014 First-Year Player Draft, making his MLB debut with the Rays in 2018. The left-hander has suited up for 184 career MLB games between the Rays, Royals, and Dodgers, posting a 52-40 record, a 4.30 ERA, and a 1.14 WHIP across 736.2 innings of work.

Kiermaier, 33, has batted .195 with seven doubles, two triples, four home runs, and 18 RBI across 81 games for the Blue Jays this season. The 6-1, 210 lb. left-handed hitter was drafted by the Rays in 2010 and made his debut with the club in 2013. Kiermaier has claimed four Gold Gloves and one Platinum Glove while keeping a .988 fielding percentage during his 12 seasons patrolling the outfield. During his 1,124 career Major League games, the native of Fort Wayne, IN, has batted .246 with 321 extra-base hits, 370 RBI, and 131 stolen bases.
