Arlington, TX – Prior to Monday’s clash against the Oakland Athletics at Globe Life Field, the Texas Rangers made a slate of roster transactions to reinforce their lineup:

Roster Additions

  • 3B Josh Jung recalled from Triple-A Round Rock
    • The 27-year-old returns for his second stint with the big-league club this season. Jung posted strong numbers during his recent Triple-A stretch (July 8–20), going 11-for-27 (.407) with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and 4 RBI, good for a .410 SLG. Over 75 MLB games in 2025, he’s hit .237/.283/.366 with 8 HR and 35 RBI while primarily manning third base.
  • INF/OF Michael Helman recalled from Round Rock
    • Helman rejoins the active roster after a standout weekend in Triple-A (7-for-15, .467, 1 HR, 1 triple, 1 double, 4 RBI). Since joining the Rangers via waiver claim on May 19, he’s hit .270 with 6 homers and 25 RBI in 33 games for the Express. His previous MLB stint spanned five games (June 27–July 16) and included starts in both center field and shortstop.
  • RHP Cole Winn recalled from Round Rock
