NEW YORK – Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, Jacksonville Jaguars safety Rayuan Lane and Las Vegas Raiders running back Dylan Laube are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games played in Week 8 (October 29, November 1-2).

OFFENSE: WR TEE HIGGINS, CINCINNATI BENGALS

  • Higgins recorded 10 receptions for 155 yards and two touchdowns in Cincinnati’s 43-36 overtime win over Tennessee. He led the league in receiving yards, ranked tied for first in touchdown receptions and ranked tied for third in receptions in Week 8. Higgins ranks second in the league in receiving yards in 2026 (726) and is the only player with 10-or-more receptions and 150-or-more receiving yards in multiple games this season.
  • This is Higgins’ first Player of the Week award. He becomes the fifth Bengals wide receiver to be named Offensive Player of the Week in the past 20 seasons (2005-26), joining Ja’Marr Chase (five-time winner), A.J. Green (Week 3, 2015), Chad Johnson (Week 12, 2007) and Marvin Jones (Week 8, 2013).
  • Higgins is the fourth Clemson wide receiver to win an Offensive Player of the Week award, joining DeAndre Hopkins (two-time winner), Rod Gardner (Week 6, 2001) and Mike Williams (Week 15, 2018).

DEFENSE: S RAYUAN LANE, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

  • Lane recorded a career-high three passes defensed and returned his first-career interception for a 92-yard touchdown in Jacksonville’s 42-7 win over Indianapolis. His 92-yard interception return is the second-longest interception returned for a touchdown in the NFL this season.
  • This is Lane’s first Player of the Week award. He joins Foyesade Oluokun (Week 4) as the second Jaguars player to be named Defensive Player of the Week this season. Lane is the third Jaguars safety to earn the honor, joining Darren Carrington (Week 5, 1995) and Rayshawn Jenkins (Week 15, 2022).
  • Lane is the first former Navy player to win a Player of the Week award.

SPECIAL TEAMS: RB DYLAN LAUBE, LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

  • Laube recorded three kickoff returns for 144 yards, including a 95-yard touchdown, in the Raiders’ 38-33 win at the New York Jets. It marked the first kickoff returned for a touchdown in the NFL this season.
  • This is Laube’s first Player of the Week award. He is the first Raiders player to be named Special Teams Player of the Week since Daniel Carlson (Week 18, 2021) and the first running back to earn the honor in franchise history.
  • Laube joins Jerry Azumah (Week 8, 2003) and Randal Williams (Week 6, 2003) as the only former New Hampshire players to win a Player of the Week award.
