Tampa Bay Lightning Sign Goaltender Ryan Fanti to One-Year, Two-Way Contract

TAMPA BAY — The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed goaltender Ryan Fanti to a one-year, two-way contract, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

Fanti, 25, split the 2024–25 season between the Syracuse Crunch (AHL) and the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL). In seven appearances with Syracuse, he posted an impressive 3-1-0 record, along with a stellar 1.45 goals-against average (GAA) and .946 save percentage (SV%). With Orlando, the 6-foot-3, 199-pound netminder played in 37 games, recording an 18-13-5 record, 2.71 GAA, and .907 SV%.

A native of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Fanti was originally undrafted and signed his first NHL contract with the Edmonton Oilers on March 28, 2022, following a standout collegiate career at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
