Swedish Gambling Authority Blocks Three Unlicensed Operators

Sweden’s gambling regulator, Spelinspektionen, has taken decisive action against three companies accused of offering gambling services to Swedish consumers without proper authorization. The entities—Liquid Entertainment NV, Rabocse SRL, and Solid Software Solutions—were found to be operating multiple domains that lacked the required licenses under Swedish law.

Among the domains linked to Rabocse SRL were gxmble.io, palmscasino.io, seven7.casino, slottio.com, wildzy.io, winstler.co, and winzter.com. Liquid Entertainment NV, based in Curaçao, was flagged for its operation of duelbits.com, a site that reportedly featured Swedish-language content and was accessible from Swedish IP addresses.

Spelinspektionen stated that its investigation revealed targeted marketing efforts toward Swedish players, including promotions via affiliate sites, influencers, and platforms like Kick, as well as paid placements in Google search results.

While offshore operators often criticize such enforcement tactics—arguing that regulators may use VPNs or other methods to access geo-restricted content—Spelinspektionen maintains that the responsibility lies squarely with the operators to prevent unauthorized access. The regulator also emphasized that game suppliers must ensure their products are not featured on unlicensed platforms targeting Sweden, or risk losing their own approvals.

This latest enforcement underscores Sweden’s ongoing commitment to tightening control over its regulated gambling market and protecting consumers from unlicensed offerings.
