New York, NY – The New York Sirens have signed forward Kayla Vespa to a 10-day Standard Player Agreement, adding depth to the lineup as the team approaches the final stretch of the 2024–25 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) regular season.

“Kayla has always felt like a full-time member of the Sirens,” said General Manager Pascal Daoust. “She represents who we are and what we stand for—commitment, grit, and a team-first mentality.”

A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Vespa began the season on New York’s Reserve Player list and has already suited up in eight games this year across two activation stints. The 28-year-old previously played 23 games during the league’s inaugural season, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist. She is a graduate of St. Lawrence University, where she developed her game in NCAA Division I play.

Her return comes as the Sirens look to manage late-season roster needs with three regular-season games remaining, starting this Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on the road against the Minnesota Frost.
