“We are beyond excited to welcome Sally Menti to our team,” said Lesle Gallimore, Seattle Reign FC General Manager. “I’ve had the privilege of knowing Sally since her youth soccer days and have closely followed her remarkable college career at Santa Clara. Her skills in the midfield align perfectly with our playing philosophy—her creativity, vision, and technical ability will make her a key contributor. She’s already demonstrated in preseason that she has what it takes to compete at this level.”

Menti, 23, played a pivotal role in Santa Clara’s 2020 NCAA Championship victory and earned multiple All-West Coast Conference accolades during her collegiate career. As a redshirt senior in 2024, she started all 20 games, registering four goals and a team-best seven assists, which earned her First Team All-WCC honors for the second consecutive year and a Third Team All-West Region selection.

Her redshirt junior season in 2023 saw her start 20 matches, scoring four goals and leading the team with nine assists. These performances garnered First Team All-WCC and First Team All-West Region honors. During her freshman year in 2020, Menti led the team with six assists and added two goals, earning WCC Freshman of the Year and Second Team All-WCC recognition.

Menti’s accomplishments extend beyond college, as she has represented the United States at various youth national team levels, including U-16, U-17, U-18, and U-20. She played for the U.S. U-20 Women’s Youth National Team at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica, gaining valuable international experience. Additionally, she was instrumental in the U-20 WYNT’s win at the 2022 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship and was a finalist for the 2022 U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year.

Seattle Reign FC resumes NWSL play this weekend, heading to Los Angeles to face Angel City FC at BMO Stadium on Sunday, March 30. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on CBSSN.
