SEATTLE, WA. – Seattle Reign FC has extended forward Veronica Latsko’s contract through the 2025 NWSL season, the club announced today.

“I love playing for this coaching staff, my teammates and this city. The support I’ve received while playing for this club is unmatched,” said Latsko. “I’m so grateful to extend my time with the Reign through 2025 and I can’t wait to take the field again soon!”

Since getting drafted by the Houston Dash as the 28th overall pick in the 2018 NWSL Draft, Latsko has totaled 46 starts in 88 appearances, 14 goals and six assists across the regular season and playoffs.

Entering her third season with the Reign, the veteran attacker is tied for the third-most regular season appearances (38) on the team since 2022. Latsko is coming off a year where she recorded single-season highs in goals (four) and assists (two), both tied for second on the team, respectively. The 28-year-old also scored back-to-back game-winning goals in the quarterfinal and semifinal to help the club reach its third NWSL Championship.

“Veronica showed her ability to impact games in big moments last year, we’ll be looking to her to provide that consistently this season and beyond,” said Seattle Reign FC General Manager Lesle Gallimore. “Her tenacity and will as a player make her stand out and we look forward to having her extend her time at the Reign and pick up where she left off last season.”

Prior to joining the Reign, Latsko spent four years with the Dash, where she totaled seven goals and four assists. Additionally, the Venetia, Pa. native was with Houston when the club won the first-ever Challenge Cup in 2020.

Tied for the most Challenge Cup games played all-time in the NWSL, Latsko has registered 25 appearances, one goal and two assists throughout the tournament.
