It’s time for the 11th race on the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series calendar. The race in question is the 2024 Wurth 400, which will take place at Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday, April 28.
Hendrick Motorsports has been the dominant force at Dover Motor Speedway since the inception of the race that’s now known as the Wurth 400. This team’s drivers have won the event 12 times, most recently two years ago when Chase Elliott did it. However, the driver who won it last year is a Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Martin Truex Jr.
The defending champ is one of the top favorites to win the 2024 race, along with Kyle Larson, William Byron, Ross Chastain, Denny Hamlin, and others.

Kyle Larson is the main favorite to win the 2024 Wurth 400 even though he’s never won the race at Dover Motor Speedway. He’s also without a single win in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series since March 3 when he won his first and so far, only race of the season.
However, the Hendrick Motorsports star has been decent in almost every race of the 2024 campaign, which is why he’s still at the top of the NASCAR Drivers’ Championship standings.
Second on that list is Martin Truex Jr., who’s also second on the list of the 2024 Wurth 400 favorites. This guy is the defending champ in this event, which is why backing him wouldn’t seem like a bad decision. If he wins on April 28, it’s going to be his first win of the 2024 season.
Brad Keselowski’s odds are +2000, which seems long especially given that this guy’s been in great shape lately. After a slow start to the season, he finished second in the last two races. He also seems to love this event, the evidence being that he finished in the top 10 in two of the last four races in Dover.
Another major underdog who might upset the odds-on April 28 is Ricky Stenhouse Jr. The No. 1 reason we think this is that he came off a pretty good performance in Talladega last weekend when he finished fourth. Further, he’s got some nice memories from Dover Motor Speedway, which is the place where he finished second two years ago.
