The Pittsburgh Pirates today placed right-handed pitcher Ben Heller on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation.

Outfielder/designated hitter Andrew McCutchen has been reinstated from the 10-day injured list (left knee inflammation).

In addition, right-handed pitcher Daulton Jefferies will begin a rehab assignment tonight with Triple-A Indianapolis. Jefferies is currently on the 60-day injured list with right elbow discomfort.
