Originally signed by Texas as a non-drafted free agent on May 10, 2018, Robert has compiled a career minor league record of 11-10 with 17 saves, a 3.40 ERA (74 ER, 195.2 IP), and 260 strikeouts to 80 walks in 146 games (2 starts). Since 2021, he has averaged 11.86 strikeouts per nine innings (210 SO in 159.1 IP) while maintaining a 31.1% strikeout rate (675 batters faced).

A native of Hoover, Alabama, Robert made his major league debut in 2024, going 1-0 with a 3.18 ERA (2 ER, 5.2 IP) in four appearances with Texas.
