MIAMI, FL Renowned boxing manager and 2022 BWAA Manager of the Year Peter Kahn has officially signed undefeated super flyweight prospect Juanmita Lopez DeJesus to an exclusive managerial contract, further strengthening his elite roster of talent.

Lopez, 19, hails from Caguas, Puerto Rico and boasts a perfect professional record of 3-0, with two knockouts. A standout amateur, he represented Puerto Rico at the 2024 Olympic Games, entering as one of the youngest competitors in the field. Though he fell to eventual gold medalist Hasanboy Dusmatov, Lopez’s Olympic appearance capped a decorated amateur career that included a Puerto Rican National Championship and a semifinal run at the 2022 IBA Youth World Championships.

The son of former two-division world champion Juan Manuel Lopez, Juanmita made his pro debut on February 14th with a first-round stoppage of Bryan Santiago at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. He followed up with wins over undefeated Mark Ordonez-Torres and a second-round TKO of Jorge Gonzalez-Sanchez on July 26th, again at MSG.

“Signing with Peter Kahn is a major step forward in my journey,” said Lopez DeJesus. “We’re building a team that reflects my dedication to becoming a world champion and my pride in representing Puerto Rico.”

“Juanmita has the talent, charisma, and work ethic to become a multi-division world champion,” said Kahn. “He’s bilingual, driven, and understands the commitment required to reach the top. He’s going to be a special part of Puerto Rico’s boxing legacy.”

Lopez is promoted by Top Rank and now joins Kahn’s powerhouse stable, which includes: | Fighter | Division | Status | |——–|———-|——–| | Xander Zayas | Junior Middleweight | WBO World Champion | | Franchon Crews-Dezurn | Super Middleweight | WBA/WBC World Champion | | Andy Cruz | Lightweight | #1 Ranked | | Jasmine Artiga | Super Flyweight | WBA World Champion | | Aaron Aponte | Super Lightweight | Undefeated | | Henry Lebron | Super Featherweight | Undefeated | | Yankiel Rivera | Flyweight | World Title Challenger | | Charlie Sheehy | Lightweight | Undefeated |
