Retail slot machine revenue totaled $224,873,947 in May 2025, reflecting a 5.02% increase from the $214,133,424 recorded in May 2024. The number of slot machines in operation decreased slightly, with 24,347 units in May 2025 compared to 24,862 a year earlier.
Retail Table Games Revenue
Revenue from retail table games stood at $79,915,903, a 4.55% decline from $83,725,161 in May 2024.
Internet Casino Gaming (iGaming) Revenue
Online casino gaming generated $232,853,763 in gross revenue for May 2025, a 33.76% increase compared to $174,089,510 in May 2024.
Sports Wagering Revenue
The total sports wagering handle reached $655,358,227 in May 2025, up 10.72% from $591,912,627 in May 2024. Taxable revenue from sports betting rose 34.39%, totaling $59,417,240 in May 2025 compared to $44,212,853 a year earlier.
Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs)
Adjusted revenue from video gaming terminals amounted to $3,683,566, reflecting a 0.08% decrease from $3,686,448 in May 2024. By the end of May 2025, all 75 qualified truck stop establishments operated the maximum five permitted machines, up from 74 locations the previous year.
Fantasy Contests
Revenue from fantasy contests totaled $1,088,950 in May 2025, a 5.35% decrease from $1,150,472 in May 2024.
