OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s reinstated right-handed pitcher Paul Blackburn from the 60-day injured list and optioned left-handed pitcher Hogan Harris to Triple-A Las Vegas, the club announced today.

Blackburn was 3-2 with a 4.11 ERA and .678 opponents OPS in eight starts when he was placed on the 15-day injured list May 13 retroactive to May 11 with a stress reaction of the fifth metatarsal of the right foot. He was transferred to the 60-day IL on June 4 and went 1-1 with an 18.00 ERA in three games, including one start, on a rehab assignment with Single-A Stockton and Triple-A Las Vegas.

Harris was 2-3 with a 2.98 ERA in 11 games, including nine starts, over three stints with the A’s. He made one relief appearance in each of his first two stints but is 2-3 with a 2.76 ERA in nine starts since he was recalled for the third time on May 30. Harris is also 1-2 with a 7.67 ERA in eight starts with Triple-A Las Vegas.
