NFL Holiday Remix Teams to Sport Festive Uniform Patches

First Ever NFL Holiday Remix to Feature Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers Playing on Saturday, Dec. 21 and Christmas Day
All Four Teams to Wear Holiday-Inspired Jersey Patch for Both Games

NEW YORK – This year marks the beginning of a new global holiday tradition: Christmas Day NFL games on Netflix.

To celebrate, each of the four teams in the NFL Holiday Remix—the Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, and Pittsburgh Steelers—will wear festive, holiday-inspired uniform patches during their games on Saturday, Dec. 21, and again on Christmas Day.

Schedule:

  • Saturday, Dec. 21:
    • Texans vs. Chiefs at 1 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock
    • Steelers vs. Ravens at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX
  • Christmas Day:
    • Chiefs vs. Steelers at 1 p.m. ET on Netflix
    • Ravens vs. Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET on Netflix

The Christmas Day games will also air on broadcast TV in the markets of the competing teams and be available on U.S. mobile devices with NFL+.

“The NFL on Christmas has become a holiday staple with families coming together to celebrate and watch NFL games,” said Tim Ellis, NFL executive vice president of marketing. “This year, we look forward to starting a new holiday tradition with Netflix that will be seen around the world. These holiday-inspired uniform patches are a great touch to mark this special occasion.”

This year marks the start of a three-season partnership with Netflix to broadcast NFL games on Christmas Day, making it a must-see cultural and global event. The games will be available globally to Netflix subscribers in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.

NFL Christmas Gameday on Netflix:

  • Begins at 11 a.m. ET with a live pregame show from NFL Network’s studios in Los Angeles and on-site at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
  • Host Kay Adams will anchor the coverage from Los Angeles, joined by analysts Drew Brees, Robert Griffin III, Mina Kimes, and Manti Te’o. Laura Rutledge, Devin McCourty, and Jason McCourty will be live from Pittsburgh. Comedians Bert Kreischer and Nate Bargatze will also join live.

Game Coverage:

  • Chiefs vs. Steelers at 1 p.m. ET:
    • Play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle, analysts Nate Burleson and JJ Watt, and sideline reporters Melanie Collins and Stacey Dales.
  • Ravens vs. Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET:
    • Play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle, analyst Greg Olsen, and sideline reporters Jamie Erdahl and Steve Wyche. The Netflix Christmas Day Halftime Show will feature Beyoncé.

Ian Rapoport will provide breaking news, and former NFL official Gene Steratore will offer rules insights.

The NFL first played games on Christmas Day in 1971 and began holding games on the holiday regularly since 1989. NFL games on Christmas Day have become a staple since 2020, with last year’s games ranking among the top 25 most-viewed TV programs of 2023. Season-to-date, NFL viewership is at 17.8 million per game, tied for the highest average through Week 15 since 2015. NFL games also rank as 47 of the top 50 shows on TV since the start of the 2024 season.
