NEW YORK – Columbus Blue Jackets forward Max Domi has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for unsportsmanlike conduct during NHL Game No. 297 in Columbus on Wednesday, Nov. 24, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

Defender inked to three-year extension after making 27 starts in 2021 for the Supporters’ Shield winners

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have re-signed defender Brandon Bye to a three-year contract extension through the 2024 Major League Soccer season with an additional one-year club option. Bye will be available to media in a virtual press conference today, Friday, November 26 at 12:00 p.m. ET. CLICK HERE to participate.

He has been a fixture in our first 11 over the past two seasons and continues to grow into his position,” said Revolution Sporting Director and Head Coach Bruce Arena. “I believe he can become one of the top right backs in MLS. Bye, 25, has totaled 105 appearances with five goals and eight assists in the MLS regular season since his arrival in 2018. The right back has added three appearances and one start in the postseason entering the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs. In 2021, the Portage, Mich. native logged 29 games played – and 29 starts – for the Revolution en route to the club’s first Supporters’ Shield title and a league-record 73 points. Bye’s 2,477 minutes played this season ranked fourth on the team.

New England will begin the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs on Tuesday, November 30 at Gillette Stadium in the Eastern Conference Semifinal round against fourth-seeded New York City FC. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1 and FOX Deportes, as well as on the radio at ROCK 92.9 FM (WBOS), SiriusXM FC (Channel 157), and 1260 AM Nossa Radio. ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando City SC will begin its 2022 Major League Soccer season, presented by Orlando Health, on Sunday, February 27 at Exploria Stadium, set to host CF Montréal in a 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The home opener, also presented by Orlando Health, will serve as the eighth-consecutive year that the Lions will begin their MLS campaign in The City Beautiful. In addition, it was also announced that City will travel to Soldier Field on March 5, the home opener for Chicago Fire FC.
