Inter Miami FC has lost five of its first six away league matches this season (W1), including a 2-1 defeat at Nashville SC in its last road match. One of those defeats, a 2-0 loss at Toronto FC, is Inter Miami FC’s only-ever defeat in Canada, after recording two wins and a draw in its three visits north of the border.

The CF Montreal Impact generated just five shots in its loss to the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. It marked the league-leading seventh time this season that CF Montreal was held to fewer than 10 shots in a match, though only two of those seven games were at home.

Inter Miami FC’s long goal against Orlando City SC on Saturday came from outside the box as the Herons managed just 12 touches in the Orlando City SC penalty area. Inter Miami FC has averaged just 16.5 penalty area touches per match this season, only CF Montreal (15.7) has averaged fewer.
