New York Yankees Sign RHP Bradley Hanner

Today, the New York Yankees have signed RHP Bradley Hanner to a Major League contract and optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Hanner, 27, has gone 4-1 with a 1.99 ERA (40.2IP, 31H, 10R/9ER, 16BB, 50K, 1HR) in 32 relief appearances this year with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Over six minor league seasons in the Minnesota Twins (2019, ’21-22), Cleveland Guardians (2023-25) and Yankees (2026) organizations, the right-hander has gone 35-23 with 24 saves and a 3.98 ERA (337.1IP, 281H, 172R/149ER, 172BB, 392K, 29HR) in 235 career games (two starts). He was signed by the Yankees as a minor league free agent on December 11, 2025. The Fairfax Va., native was originally selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 21st round of the 2019 First-Year Player Draft out of Patrick & Henry Community College (Va.).

To make room on the 40-man roster, the Yankees have transferred OF Aaron Judge to the 60-day injured list.
