New York Yankees conduct eight roster-related transactions

Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves:

  • Returned INF Jazz Chisholm Jr. (#13) from his rehab assignment and reinstated him from the 10-day injured list.
  • Reinstated RHP Fernando Cruz (#63) from the 15-day injured list.
  • Recalled RHP Yerry de los Santos (#73) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
  • Placed RHP Luke Weaver on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to 6/1) with a left hamstring strain.
  • Optioned INF Jorbit Vivas to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
  • Designated RHP Carlos Carrasco for assignment.

Additionally, the Yankees transferred the rehab assignment of RHP JT Brubaker from Double-A Somerset to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Also, RHP Jake Cousins commences a rehab assignment with High-A Hudson Valley.
