On Thursday, the Yankees acquired OF Cam Eden from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for cash considerations.

Eden, 26, has hit .198 (56-for-283) with 34R, 10 doubles, 2 triples, 7HR, 35RBI, 39BB and 26SB in 91 games with Triple-A Buffalo this season. The right-handed batter made his Major League debut with Toronto last season, appearing in five games with the club. Over five minor league seasons in the Blue Jays organization (2019, ’21-24), Eden has hit .236 (330-for-1,399) with 212R, 64 doubles, 7 triples, 27HR, 166RBI, 158BB and 153SB in 420 games. The Yuba City, Calif., native was selected by Toronto in the sixth round of the 2019 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of California, Berkeley.

Eden has been assigned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
