Wins in November don’t usually spark celebrations, but the Toronto Raptors couldn’t help but revel in their recent victory on Monday night.

After breaking a seven-game losing streak with a 130-119 win over the visiting Indiana Pacers, the Raptors are eager to continue improving when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday.

RJ Barrett led the Raptors with a season-high 39 points, helping Toronto improve to 3-4 at home.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves are 3-4 on the road.  Toronto will be looking to avenge their 112-101 road loss to the Timberwolves on October 26 in this upcoming rematch.

The Timberwolves secured their second consecutive win on Sunday, defeating the Phoenix Suns 120-117 at home with Julius Randle sinking a game-winning three-pointer. Randle finished with 35 points, while Anthony Edwards added 24.

Despite trailing for most of the game and being down by as many as 16 points, Minnesota managed to turn things around. They allowed Phoenix to shoot 54.1 percent (46-for-85) from the field and trailed by 10 points at halftime.

In their victory over Indiana, Toronto briefly trailed by one point but led by as many as 22. The Raptors shot an impressive 58.5 percent (48-for-82) from the field, including 48.3 percent (14-for-29) from three-point range.

Jakob Poeltl has been a standout for Toronto, averaging 30 points and 15 rebounds over the past three games while shooting 71.9 percent (41-for-57) from the field.

Toronto forward Scottie Barnes, who has been recovering from a right orbital fracture, returned to full practice on Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Thursday’s game.
