The Cleveland Cavaliers are set to visit the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday with the luxury of experimenting with strategies they hope will pave the way for a deep playoff run. Leading the Eastern Conference by 5.5 games, the Cavaliers have already defeated the Raptors three times this season.

Toronto recently broke a four-game losing streak by defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 106-103 on Tuesday, with Scottie Barnes leading the charge with 33 points and 10 rebounds.
As the Cavaliers aim for their fourth consecutive win, they will focus on improving communication on the court. The recent addition of De’Andre Hunter, who scored 12 points in 23 minutes during his Cleveland debut on Monday, is expected to bolster their defense.
The Raptors, meanwhile, finalized a significant trade-deadline move by signing Brandon Ingram to a three-year, $120 million contract extension. Ingram, who joined from the New Orleans Pelicans on Feb. 6 in exchange for Bruce Brown, Kelly Olynyk, and two draft picks, remains sidelined with a left ankle sprain that has kept him out since early December. RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl also missed the game against Philadelphia due to their respective conditions.
Toronto’s strong start, leading 26-18 after the first quarter, played a crucial role in their victory over the 76ers. Wednesday’s game will be a test of whether the Raptors can carry that momentum forward or if the Cavaliers will continue their dominance.
