MONTREAL – The Montreal Alouettes have activated quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson from the six-game injured list, clearing the way for his return to practice this week, the club announced Tuesday.

Bethel-Thompson had been sidelined since Week 10 after sustaining an injury against the Edmonton Elks. Acquired from Edmonton in an off-season trade that sent Cody Fajardo the other way, the veteran pivot has appeared in nine games for Montreal this year, throwing for 957 yards with four touchdowns and five interceptions.

In his absence, James Morgan has handled starting duties, stepping in amid injuries to Bethel-Thompson, Davis Alexander, and Caleb Evans. Morgan has completed three starts, totaling 547 passing yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions.

The team also confirmed that running back Sean Thomas Erlington has been moved to the six-game injured list after suffering an upper-body injury in last Saturday’s matchup with Hamilton. The 33-year-old has been a steady contributor in the backfield rotation.

Montreal now turns its attention to a Week 15 clash with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Kickoff is set for Saturday at 7:00 p.m. ET, with coverage on TSN and RDS in Canada, and on CFL+ for U.S. and international viewers.
