SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Wild have announced the recall of goaltender Jesper Wallstedt from their AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild, ahead of Round One of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Wallstedt’s Season Performance

Wallstedt, 22, made two starts for Minnesota this season, posting a 0-2-0 record with a 4.09 goals-against average (GAA) and a .843 save percentage (SV%). In 27 games with Iowa, he recorded a 9-14-4 record, a 3.59 GAA, a .879 SV%, and one shutout.

During the 2023-24 season, Wallstedt made three starts for Minnesota, finishing with a 2-1-0 record, a 3.01 GAA, and a .897 SV%. He earned his first career NHL shutout on April 7, 2024, stopping all 24 shots in a 4-0 victory over Chicago.
