MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated left-handed pitcher Kody Funderburk from the 60-day Injured List.

Funderburk, who was placed on the 15-day Injured List on July 21 with a left oblique strain and transferred to the 60-day IL on September 5, appeared in four games on rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul from September 10-20. Prior to landing on the Injured List, he appeared in 26 games for the Twins, going 1-0 with a 5.61 ERA (33.2 IP, 21 ER), one save, 15 walks and 31 strikeouts.

To make room on the 28-man roster, the Twins have optioned catcher Jair Camargo. Camargo, who was recalled yesterday, did not appear in last night’s game against the Miami Marlins.

To make room on the 40-man roster, the Twins have transferred outfielder Max Kepler (left patellar tendinitis) to the 60-day IL.
